Block ads on Android
No app, no subscription. Blocks ads and trackers in every app and browser, on WiFi and mobile data. Built into Android 9 and newer.
Tap this on the Android phone itself.
Install
- Tap the button above. It copies the address and opens the settings screen.
- Select Private DNS provider hostname.
- Long-press the box, Paste, then tap Save.
- Ads are blocked immediately. No restart needed.
The button requires Chrome. Firefox blocks it. If the settings screen does not open, open Settings, search Private DNS, and paste manually.

On Samsung the setting is under Connections › More connection settings › Private DNS.
Uninstall
- Open Settings.
- Go to Network & internet › Private DNS, or search Private DNS.
- Select Automatic.
- Ads return immediately. Nothing is left behind.
This is a settings change, not an app. There is nothing to uninstall and no account to cancel.
